Amazing team of doctors in the UK repair unborn babies spines in womb

This is the first time that a team of 30 doctors in the UK university of London have carried out such a procedure.

The babies had spinae bifida occulta which is usually treated after birth. Spinae Bifida refers to ‘a malformation of one or more vertebrae’ leaving a small gap in the spine.
